In the English Vinglish movie, Shashi did some mistakes. But in my opinion, it is common for people to do mistake since all of us are not that perfect. In this movie, Shashi has wrongly pronounce 'jazz' with 'jhazz' while chatting with her family. Due to this, the reaction of her family has quite saddened her. They are all laughing including her husband, Sapna, her daughter and her little hero, Sagar. This makes Shashi's self-esteem at low to speak in English when she should not be treated in that way actually.
Next mistake that Shashi make is when she is in the English class, for her to introduce herself. In this situation, she did say that "I come from the India". With that mistake, the teacher's reaction is not laughing at her, instead he right the mistake kindly. This is a correct way for people to analyse someone's mistake, by help that person, not issued him or her. Thank you :)

it is sad :(
SHASHI's husband
I do not like the character of Shashi's husband. Shashi’s husband feels shame when his wife cannot match up with his high class colleagues and when their wives very smartly converse in English. Shashi is underestimated due to her incapability of speaking English. From outside, it looks like a perfect and happy home nut but inside Shashi feels humiliations and discarded. Instead of that, Satish, Shashi's husband, also laugh at his wife mistake when she accidentally said 'jhazz' since she did not know the real pronounciation for 'jazz'. For him, it is funny, but he forgot that her wife might get hurt due to that incident.
Besides that, Satish also a workaholic person. He keeps working until late at night and did less spend time with his family. This proven when he needs to attend a meeting when he actually had promised to his daughter, Sapna, to go to her school to meet her teacher. This situation make Sapna unhappy and as a mother, Shashi take the responsibility eventhough she know she will get in trouble to communicate with the teacher in English.

ENGLISH VINGLISH
It is a movie of an Indian woman who cannot speak in English and how she determined to survive in New York for her sister's wedding. The main character is Shashi, a wife and a mother of two children.
What I like about the character is that even though she cannot speak in English, she is determined to overcome the problem. She attended an English class in New York secretly when her sister is on work. With her determination, she was able to speak the language in only 3 weeks. It is quite amazing for a typical Indian woman to learn the language in a short period.
Next, Shashi also such a typical Indian woman who proudly with her culture. She is good at cooking especially ladoo, which is a rich and sweet-snack Indian. In New York, she introduced the ladoo to her different country friends and they like it so much. She also made her own ladoo for her sister's wedding.
